What data do we collect?

Our Company collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Your name, email address, age and region of the UK)
  • Assessment results which are relevant to your answers on completing the assessments.

You directly provide the Institute with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Sign up to the Institute and complete the assessments.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

How will we use your data?

The Institute collects your data so that we can:

  • Provide a result or score from the assessments that is relative to your region in the UK.

The Institute of Life will not share your data with companies or third parties.

How do we store your data?

The Institute securely stores your data on its website which is managed by sceniusmedia.co.uk. Scenius Media use secure servers and best of breed coding languages to provide secure and robust applications. Due to security we cannot disclose the specific coding languages used, database types or storage mechanisms in place. Itresolve are responsible for the data collection services and processing on the institutes website and can be contacted through their website.

The Institute will keep your data for the duration that your account with the Institute of Life exists. After a period of time that your account becomes inactive your account will be closed and your data will be marked as anonymous and used for legacy data to help the Institute build a regional view of where it can be beneficial or effective. If you wish to delete your data, please use the form provided in the manage your account section of the website, on completion of this form your data will be deleted and can not be restored.

Marketing

The Institute will not send you information about products or services of ours or any third party that we think you might be interested in. However, if the results of your assessments are of interest to the Institute we may contact you to verify or discuss your result. Contact will be established via email only.

Identity protection

Your identity will only be exclusively available to The Institute of Life for the purposes of education. In the case of a third party interaction such as an audit or research with an authorised education body, your data in such cases will be anonymized. Only official and reputable third parties are expected to interact with The Institute of Life. If requested for verification or data validation purposes from an internal or external audit we will contact you and communicate accordingly. In such a case the Institute will apprieciate your cooperation.
