Life Management Training

Life Management Training provides you with a Cert.L.M. – Certificate in Life Management. Completing this course doesn’t mean you have some flaw in your personality or direction, it just means that you've been clever enough to recognise that there are opportunities in changing your life, not just to survive, but to truly thrive in life. Life Management gives you the ability to know yourself as an individual and be able to change the circumstances around you. This will fundametally change your life but only for the better. Furthermore, by completing this course you become eligible for progression towards becomming a Life Management Trainer.

Who this course is for:

  • Those interested in understanding life and being able to live well within it.
  • Those who wish to wish to factually assess their circumstances to produce answers and real world expertise in designing a better life for themselves.
  • Those interested in the implementation of standards and management systems to aid improvement.
  • The curious or those who enjoy discovering knowledge.

What you'll learn

The course is structured into 13 sessions, designed to run over a 13 week period.

  1. Introduction. Introduce the course layout and process of navigating the sessions which lead to achieving a Certificate in Life Management. (Cert.LM). Establishing your circumstances in life, any personal issues and what is hoped to be accomplished upon completing the Life Management Training (LMT).
    • Objective: The trainee explains their position in life, any issues and where they see themselves after completing the life management course.

  2. Wind. To set baselines, how to approach learning or understanding tasks and objectives. In doing so, begin to build your observational (mindfulness) skills.
    • Objective: The trainee will be able to describe current situations or circumstances.

  3. Water. Considering the importance of structured thinking when completing tasks, forming organised, interpretative and effective thoughts.
    • Objective: The trainee can express the importance of using senses to form an organised and effective way forward.

  4. Earth. Exploration of the universe and mankind's place within it, looking for sense, meaning or purpose and promoting the formulation of opinions about one’s own situation and circumstances for life within the universe.
    • Objective: The trainee can formulate a view on their situation and circumstances for life relative to the universe.

  5. Fire. Our emotions play a significant role in our thinking, emotional intelligence is the key to well-being, this session encourages reflection on positive and negative aspects in your daily lives.
    • Objective: The trainee will be able to indicate where emotions have a positive or negative role in their daily lives.

  6. Space. Introduces the concepts of conscious state and how movement within one’s mind is as important as movement of the body. Identifying opportunities which may exist to improve responses and reactions, or how to evaluate our opinions or conclusions we regularly form.
    • Objective: The trainee provides examples where opportunities may exist to improve reactions, responses or what the steps are in order to do so.

  7. Time. Contextualise the importance of trusted strategies or techniques that are designed to aid or assist with improvement, explaining the importance of accuracy, flexibility and retaining an open mind when considering one’s surroundings or circumstances for life.
    • Objective: The trainee will be able to explain the importance of accuracy, flexibility and retaining an open mind when considering an area of their lives that would benefit from attention or improvement.

  8. Mind. Further explore how actions and thinking are shaped or influenced by environmental influences, defining your person/environment fit.
    • Objective: Trainees will be able to define environmental effects on conscious states.

  9. Body. Introduce structured and processed thinking techniques to enable sound decision making based from a good body of knowledge.
    • Objective: Trainees will be able to discuss the merits of structuring information as a foundation towards making wise decisions.

  10. Soul. To examine the mechanisms of life, how self awareness and well-being is found within one’s own nature, meeting the challenges you face, with the resources you need.
    • Objective: The trainee will be able to describe purpose, meaning or beliefs that can aid the facilitation of objectives.

  11. Movement. Understand the basis of analysis and reflection of oneself to determine actions or direction. Enabling you to move, change, adapt or modify your approach to improve your overall circumstances.
    • Objective: The trainee will be able to analyse or examine who they are and determine their own direction or action points.

  12. Harmony. Learn how competence through adaptive rationality is key to sustaining well-being, providing ‘the good life’.
    • Objective: The trainee provides examples of ideal operation in their life.

  13. Oneness. Designing how you are prepared for life, adapting to your surroundings in real time. Learning how to achieve rational well-being and using it to find the life that’s right for you. Because, through our intentions, we change, plan and prepare for a brighter future.
    • Objective: The trainee will be able to summarise the life management course, their intentions, how they are going to change, plan or prepare for things going forward.

  • Improving listening and enhanced critical thinking in order to improve rational decision making.
  • Analyse and evaluate what a Life Management System means to you and your life.
  • Improved emotional intelligence.
  • Identification of your person/environment fit and how this is applied in a real-world sitting.
  • Make better decisions based on factual knowledge, rather than hearsay.
  • Improving your competence and confidence both professionally and personally.

Requirements:

  • An open mind and appreciation of the implementation and application of standards or basic management systems.
  • On completing this course, you'll have the knowledge of a successful system that focuses on sustainability, improvement and success.
  • Worksheet templates are provided for the optional but encouraged exercises included within the course.
  • An interest in human behaviour, environmental psychology or emotional intelligence.

You will qualify with a Certificate in Life Management, (and can place Cert. L.D. after your name), but this will also allow the option for further study to become a Life Management Trainer.
