Confidence from Competence

Competence is defined as "the ability to put skills and knowledge into practice to perform a task in an effective and efficient manner to an established standard". Other factors contributing to a person's competence include the person's prior experience, aptitudes, attitudes and behaviours when using these skills and qualifications.

So, clearly, competence is learnt from training received, not guessed, made up, or developed through discussion and can be applied to real-world activities in a logical and reasonable way. This rationality is at the heart of the Institute Life Management Training, supporting the provision of competence, which leads to a wonderful feeling of confidence in whatever you do and want to achieve.

In a world of confusion and disappointment, you can rely on a Life Management System because it sets a standard and provides the means to delivering life competence.

As Mick Jagger says “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need”.
